Summary

The Global Antisemitism Monitor is an independent, non-profit project that aggregates and classifies public news about antisemitism incidents. It does not collect personal data beyond minimal technical logs from Cloudflare. Data is offered under CC BY-NC 4.0 for academic, journalistic, educational and NGO use. Commercial use requires prior authorization (free) — write to micaela@kavnes.com.

Privacy

  • We don't collect personal data from visitors beyond what is strictly necessary to operate. No fingerprinting trackers, no advertising pixels.
  • Aggregate analytics (GoatCounter): to understand where visitors come from (rough country via IP, never stored; browser; referrer; page path) we use GoatCounter. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no individual profiling. We honor your browser's Do-Not-Track and Sec-GPC signals — if enabled, no hit is sent.
  • Technical logs: the site is served via Cloudflare Tunnel, which logs IP + user-agent for up to 24 hours for security (DDoS mitigation). Those logs aren't cross-referenced with any other data nor retained beyond that window.
  • First-party cookies: none. Cloudflare may set a technical cookie __cf_bm to distinguish humans from bots — it's exempt under GDPR/ePrivacy.
  • Email subscription: if we activate the digest (see Methodology · Phase 3), the email is stored locally in our database, never shared. You can request deletion at micaela@kavnes.com.
  • GDPR/CCPA rights: access, rectification and deletion — write to us. We respond within 3 days.

Terms of use

  • Data is provided "as is", with no warranty of accuracy, completeness or currentness. The pipeline is automated and has documented false positives and negatives (see Limitations).
  • Don't use as sole source for legal, judicial, political or security decisions. If an incident matters for a real-impact decision, verify against the original source (linked on each item) and triangulate with other sources.
  • Academic, journalistic and educational use: free, no prior notice required. We ask for attribution.
  • Commercial use: requires prior written authorization. We don't charge — we just want to know. Includes data reselling, integration into commercial products, corporate dashboards, SaaS services, sustained programmatic automation, white-labeling the widget, and any use where attribution to the Monitor isn't visible. Request authorization at micaela@kavnes.com — we usually reply same-day.
  • Automated scraping and indiscriminate API use: prohibited. The following are NOT permitted: (a) scraping the site via crawlers, headless browsers, scripts or other automated techniques; (b) downloading or reproducing the historical archive (partially or fully) without prior written authorization; (c) making bulk programmatic requests to any /api/* endpoint without a valid API key issued by the Monitor's owner. The Monitor's APIs and data are protected by these terms of use, the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, server-configured rate-limits and, where applicable, computer-access legislation (US Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, EU GDPR, Argentina Law 26.388). Any circumvention attempt — including IP rotation, header spoofing or reverse-engineering the auth system — constitutes a breach of these terms and may result in permanent blocking and applicable legal action. For legitimate automated uses (research, NGO, newsrooms), request an API key — free, issued case-by-case.

Content license

Classified incidents, continental indices, aggregated statistics and editorial content of the Monitor are under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

You may copy, redistribute, adapt and remix for non-commercial use under two conditions: attribution and no commercial use without prior authorization. Authorization is requested by email (micaela@kavnes.com) and is free — the gate is knowing who uses it and for what, not monetization.

Linked original article quotes (source_url field) belong to their respective publications and are reproduced under journalistic / academic fair use — only title and a brief description, with mandatory link to the original source.

Editorial disclaimer

  • Classification is fully automated (multi-model AI cascade + local heuristic backup). There is no human editorial review by default.
  • False positives and false negatives are inevitable. The pipeline rejects movie reviews, obituaries and cultural mentions, but borderline cases remain. If you see a misclassified incident, let us know.
  • Country/type/severity categorization is an automated interpretation, not a legal ruling or an editorial stance.
  • This monitor takes no political position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, governments, parties or social movements. It follows the IHRA definition of antisemitism (see Methodology) which distinguishes criticism of State of Israel policy from attacks on Jews or Jewish institutions.
  • If you represent an outlet and want us to remove a citation of your article, write to us — we comply without debate.
